6 Hours Behind
the Wheel Training
The six hours of driving instruction is behind the wheel driving school’s premier program. 16 year old students are legally required to do a minimum of six hours of driving instruction with a licensed driving school in order to obtain their learner’s permit. We do three 2 hour lessons and pick-up and drop off @ home or school. We process and validate all of the permits for our 16 year old students. Going to the dmv is not required for our 16 year old students. We will validate and schedule all road test appointments for our 16 year old behind the wheel students. Remember to take good care of your permit after you receive it from our driving school. We do not process duplicate permits for our students if they lose, damage or misplace it.

Written Test &
Vision Test Service
The vision test is done at our behind the wheel office location for each 16 year old student. The written test can be administered at the dmv on an appointment basis after the permit is processed. The fee for this service is $ 60 per test attempt. A parent is not able to take their 16 year old child for a written test appointment at the dmv. Only a licensed driving instructor is eligible for this task.

Road Test with
Review Lesson
Many of our Behind the Wheel students utilize this popular and highly successful service. We will practice with the student morning of the road test for approximately 60-75 minutes and then drive the students to their road tests. The road test is then taken in one of our vehicles; not the parent’s vehicle. This service is not included with the six hours fee. The passing rate for our students on their first test attempts is consistently 95% or higher each and every year. Chris is the “road test specialist.” Remember to reserve this service a minimum of 4 weeks before your scheduled road test date.

Additional Hours
of Driver Training
Additional hours of driving instruction (after the initial six to obtain the permit) are always available and often a good idea for a young driver. These additional hours will improve confidence and strengthen the foundation for young drivers.
The fee for this service is $75/hour
